Generally, all table tennis tables come with a standard manufacturer warranty that essentially serves as an insurance policy that covers your table tennis table for a certain period of time. While virtually all ping pong tables come with a standard warranty, the warranty often varies from table to table in terms of warranty length and which parts of the table tennis table the warranty specifically covers. For example, a warranty may cover a ping pong table's wheels for 2 years, but the surface top for 5 years. An extended warranty is basically an extension of the standard warranty that automatically comes with the table tennis table.  As mentioned previously, while all table tennis tables come with a standard warranty, obtaining an extended warranty is possible when indicated on the table’s product page.

Freight Shipping

Generally, your table tennis table will be delivered in 1 of 5 ways:

Unload Myself: Also known as curbside delivery, this method of delivery is considered an industry standard and is our most economical delivery option. It involves the freight truck pulling up to the front curb of the delivery location and having the purchaser or authorized individual retrieve the purchased item from the upper back portion of the freight truck, unassisted by the delivery person.  Once the purchaser or authorized individual has full possession of the item, they are then free to take the item to their desired location. This delivery option is absolutely FREE. 

Although free standard curbside delivery is offered by eTableTennis.com on larger items totaling $49 or more, the following delivery options are also available for an additional fee:

Curbside Delivery with Lift Gate: Curbside delivery with Lift Gate is virtually identical to the curbside delivery described above, but involves the help of a machine that gently helps lift the table tennis table from the back of the freight truck so that the purchaser of the table tennis table or authorized individual can retrieve the ping pong table and take it to the desired location.   Essentially, the lift gate eliminates the need for the purchaser or authorized individual to remove the purchased item from the inside area of the freight truck. Please note that, sometimes, the freight truck delivery person may help the purchaser or authorized individual remove the purchased item from inside the truck at no extra charge.

To the Door Delivery: This type of delivery consists of the freight truck delivery person carefully unloading your purchased item from the freight truck and bringing it to your garage or front door of your home, office, or other preferred location.

Inside Delivery to Room of Choice:  Inside Delivery is similar to garage or front door delivery except the freight truck delivery person will unload the purchased item and bring inside your home, office, or other preferred location and into the room of your choosing.

Inside Delivery with Full Assembly: Unlike the other delivery options, white glove delivery generally involves the delivery person bringing the table tennis table to the desired location, assembling the table tennis table and getting the table tennis table ready for immediate use, and removing any debris associated with the delivery.  

You will be able to select which type of delivery you prefer during the checkout process.

 

  1. Now that my table tennis table has arrived, how do I assemble it?

Generally speaking, table tennis tables vary a bit when it comes to their assembly. On all of our product pages, we offer an estimated assembly time given to us by the manufacturer, and each ping pong table comes with a user manual that explains how to assemble the table tennis table.  However, there are a few commonalities when it comes to assembling your table tennis table:

  1. Once you’ve selected the desired location for your table tennis table in your home, office, or recreation center, remove the contents of the table tennis table from its packaging and gently place them on a flat surface.
  2. Next, go through the instruction manual and make sure that each component is laid out on the flat surface and that no items are missing.
  3. Once you’ve determined that all table tennis parts are present, read through the owner's manual and simply follow the instructions.

In some cases, you may want to have someone to assemble the ping pong table for you.   1. How should I go about placing my table tennis table into storage?

Once you have decided you would like to place your ping pong table into storage, a few things should be done to safely store your table:

  1. Find a quality location to store your table tennis table. Such a location should be away from excessive heat, moisture, and preferably away from direct sunlight.
  2. Clean off the table tennis table and remove any dust and/or moisture from the table tennis table with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
  3. Since the majority of table tennis tables are foldable, carefully fold the ping pong table according to the instructions in your owner’s manual.
  4. Move the ping pong table to the desired location.
  5. If desired, we also offer table tennis table covers for sale.  These covers can greatly help extend the life of your table tennis table. 

 

  1. Is there anything I can do to keep my table tennis table clean and in good condition?

When it comes to maintaining the surface of your table tennis table, you have a few different options:

  1. Regularly wipe down the table tennis table’s surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after each use. This will remove minor dust particles and moisture from the table.
  2. Although this depends on how often the table tennis table gets used, take a clean cloth and apply a gentle, non-toxic cleaner that is mixed with water to provide your ping pong table with a slightly more thorough cleaning.  Use the least amount of cleaning solution possible since you want to give the table a thorough cleaning without tarnishing the finish on the table tennis table’s surface. This should not be done more than once per month.
  3. As necessary, remove the table tennis table's net and wash the net by hand using moderately warm water and a small amount of detergent. Let the table tennis net soak for at least 30 minutes before letting the net air dry. Once dry, re-apply the net to the table tennis table.
  4. Apply a lubricant to metal areas of the table tennis table that fold or bend periodically as part of regular maintenance.
